Start a CSB Program in Your Church or Ministry

Getting a CSB program started in your church is as simple as contacting our office or the Regional Director for your area! We’ll be happy to help you walk through the process. If you are anxious to get things started without delay you can do so right here on our web site.

Following these steps will help ensure your ministry gets off to a great start...

1. Get Acquainted with Our Programs

Be sure to read through the material on this web site about each CSB program you are interested in offering. You may also request a CSB Ministries Sample Kit from our warehouse or your Regional Director for a preview of our programs and materials, and order the Leader’s Guides for the programs you are thinking about starting. This is a great time to make contact with the Regional Director for your area and discuss your church’s needs and current ministries, and determine how CSB can help you reach your ministry goals.

2. Catch a Vision for Your Ministry

Pray that God would help you see how this ministry will change the lives of the boys and leaders who will be involved. Gather men around you from your church who are interested in being involved and share your vision with them as well as the material you have received from us.

3. Establish Your Ministry’s Leadership

Appoint a CSB Coordinator and select the men who will serve in leadership roles in your ministry. You also need to train your leaders...contact your Regional Director to arrange for a Basic Leadership Training session. You may also want to order the Building Men resource for each leader and the Building Men: Leaders Guide and work through the material together.

4. Register Your Group

Every church or ministry offering CSB programs must register by signing a Working Agreement with us and submitting the one-time application fee and the annual ministry fee for the program(s) being offered by the church. You may download this document here, or request one from our office.

5. Order the Materials

Work with your Regional Director or our Canadian Warehouse in making sure you have all the materials necessary for your leaders and the boys who will be a part of your ministry. CSB has a wealth of resources to help you plan meetings, organize activities and games, and share stories that matter.

6. Launch Your Ministry!

Choose a date to start and promote the ministry in your church and community! Be sure to have everything on hand in advance of your start date, pray that God would use the time invested in the boys lives in powerful ways, and be sure to stay connected with us for support, encouragement and further training.
