John Launstein
John is our new CSB Canada President! John and his wife, Melanie, live in Pincher Creek, AB with their four young children: Jenaya, Marlise, Charis, and Josiah.
John is extremely excited to be joining the CSB Canada team after serving in pastoral ministry in BC and Calgary before taking a few years off from full-time ministry and operating a fly fishing guiding business in southern Alberta.
John was involved in Stockade and Battalion while growing up and is passionate about CSB’s partnership with churches in growing godly men.

Gord Banman
Gord serves as both our Regional Director for Manitoba and Southern Saskatchewan as well as fulfilling the role of Warehouse Manager. If you need advice on materials, Gord’s the man to talk to!
Gord and his wife Marie live in Winnipeg, MB and have been with CSB in a staff role since 1998 after Gord’s retirement from the Winnipeg Police. They attend Calvary Chapel and Gord is very involved in the CSB programs there.
Gord also spearheads the production of our printed material and promotional products.

Harold Browne
Harold has been involved with CSB for more than 40 years now, first as a leader in his local Brigade, then on staff as our President, and now stepping into the role of Regional Director for NE Ontario and our Eastern Provinces. He is also staying involved on the administrative end as our Office Manager.
Harold and Carol have worked tirelessly in CSB’s ministry from their home in Ottawa. All four of their sons were involved in Brigade while growing up.

Ron Carnahan
Ron is our Regional Director for Southern Ontario and has been on staff with us since 2001.
Ron and Dianne attend Bethel Baptist Church in Orillia and Ron is involved in re-establishing the Brigade program there. Ron is a licensed electrician but has been able to move increasingly towards full-time status with CSB.
Ron is deeply passionate about CSB’s camping ministry and organizes a hugely successful area-wide camporee each year, in addition to all his other efforts.

Steve Grove
Steve and Bonnie live in Saskatoon, SK along with their children, Benjamin and Heather. Steve pastors Louise Street Community Church while also serving as our Regional Director for Northern Saskatchewan.
Steve is one of those guys that “bleed green”, having been involved with CSB as a boy and attaining his Herald of Christ in 1981. He’s also a huge fan of his wife’s writing ministry: Bonnie is a published author with several additional book projects in the works. Howard Pike
Howard is our man on the West Coast, serving as Regional Director for British Columbia.
Howard and Kathie have two children and celebrated their son Jim’s achievement of receiving his Herald of Christ this past spring.
Howard always has something (more accurately several somethings!) on the go for Brigade units in BC to be involved in from his Tough Guys weekend to area-wide camps, the Director’s Cup Football Classic and all kinds of other outings. He has been involved with CSB in one capacity or another for nearly 40 years.
